Chloe joined the WCBS Support team back in May this year, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Finance.
Having passed 12 GCSEs at The Gryphon School in Sherborne, Chloe served an apprenticeship at Hays Travel before taking a different path in an Accountants Payroll Bureau, a helicopter firm, then with the NHS where she spent three years in the Payroll Team. As a Support Consultant and involved with our finance software, Chloe’s knowledge and expertise especially in Payroll and Tax, and strong understanding of General Data Protection Regulations and pensions, is already benefitting our customers.
“The thing I like most about my work is the fact there is always something new to learn; it’s never the same thing each day.
“There’s a large variation of queries from our customers, some who are new to our products, others who perhaps perform a process once a year. So I can see that depending on the time of year such as around the academic year end there will be more similar questions asked.
“Most of the queries I have seen so far have all been different in one way or another.”
She very quickly has been able to answer support queries sent into the team’s inbox and on phone calls. With morning team meetings four times a week, she is finding that she is being well supported by the Support Team!
Chloe shares her home with her cat Triggs who she doesn’t leave home without saying goodbye to.
Away from the office, Chloe spends time playing netball for Yeovil in a league. Matches are once a week through the season and practice is weekly, too. She’s been playing for 13 years as Goal Defence – and sometimes Goal Shooter.
Indoors she likes playing card games and board games, with her favourites being Uno, Scene it, and Rummy. And, watch out – she’s best at Texas Hold’em poker.
Cooking is another pastime Chloe enjoys, whenever she can she likes to make up some homemade pasties and other savoury treats. And she particularly likes making her Sunday roast dinners. And eating it! However, sponge cakes are not Chloe’s thing to bake as they come out as cookies every time…
People have said they appreciate how they can have a laugh with Chloe so easily, which is probably one of the reasons she’s settled in so well.
