Event summary,

This webinar is designed for Finance Managers, Bursars and the Finance Teams at UK Independent Schools who are looking for advice on how to best navigate the impact of VAT. We will be looking at this from both a practical compliance level, as well as the decision making that is required to support the VAT treatment of income and expenditure. It will cover any new information following the Autumn Budget.

Overview

In this webinar the WCBS Team will be joined by Debbie Jennings, VAT Director at Moore Kingston Smith.

Debbie will offer her hot takes on the impact of VAT to Independent Schools, covering considerations for schools to be making around expenditure, exemptions, and potential VAT recovery, before answering the questions submitted by our schools in advance of the event. The webinar will be practical, and focused on the role of the finance team at the school, looking at “what does the change mean for you?”.
