China’s schools aspire to holistic approach to teaching and learning

China’s private school sector, previously catering to the children of foreigners living in the country, is now becoming more popular with Chinese nationals, due to income rises, and the desire for more western style, holistic education – away from the traditional rote, test-focussed instruction. This is driven by families aspiring to send their children to college overseas, and in turn, creating opportunities for many education based companies and schools in the UK and US.
