Local MP James Heappey visited the WCBS head office in Glastonbury on Friday, as part of his effort to learn more about businesses within his Wells constituency.
Neil Butcher, Head of Operations (pictured with Mr Heappey) was proud to give him the guided tour around Landmark House.
Mr Heappey spent time chatting to staff, including youngest member, Kellie Chubb.
“He asked me about how my Art and Design qualifications helped me in the Marketing Department,” Kellie commented. “Once I’d explained that my tasks can include anything from creating press advertising to designing art for our highly sought-after mouse mats, he understood!” She gave him a souvenir copy of a WCBS supplement recently published in an international magazine.
Passing through the Sales Department, Mr Heappey discovered a common interest with Customer Account Manager for Europe, Will McNeil, when he learned that they had both been members of the European Youth Parliament. Will now has Mr Heappey's business card and an open invitation to visit him in the House of Commons!
