WCBS shortlisted for ‘Exporter of the Year’ at the Bett Awards 2018

15/11/2017 11:22:07 | WCBS

All the finalists for the Bett Awards 2018 have been announced, and we are delighted to be in the running for Exporter of the Year.

In our submission we explored the successful breakthrough of our management information system (MIS) in China, not only into the international and bilingual private sector, but also Chinese state schools.

This case study on HD Ningbo School in China details how our MIS supports them in taking a different approach to learning by focusing on every individual student’s progress.

Our knowledge and experience internationally, across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, means that we are considered industry experts. This is illustrated by relationships we’ve established with China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), Department for International Trade (DIT), and attending trade missions and expos with DIT and British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) in Vietnam, Mexico and China. We have also published our second worldwide survey, in partnership with ISC Research. The results are being used proactively to shape the future of MIS.

Knowing your market is extremely important and it’s something we endeavour to achieve. With the steps we have taken and the success we have had so far in China, across the UK and internationally, we believe we already have an excellent understanding of what schools require from an MIS provider. Having regional representatives also makes a real difference to the support and service we offer our customers.

With this in mind we have launched HUB, our true cloud MIS designed to suit the needs of every school, regardless of type or size. It can be accessed from anywhere, at any time, and in any language, making it a truly international solution.

We look forward to attending the awards ceremony next year, as well as exhibiting at the Bett Show. Good luck to all the finalists!
